The Best of The Friday Habit
Ben's Favorite Episodes:
3. Episodes 23 & 24: Productize Your Business with Greg Hickman
Greg Hickman is a business productizing expert and the founder of Alt Agency. Ben loved how he broke down productizing services and diversifying income by offering your services in a few different ways. We learned a lot about productizing and how to offer different services to different audiences. Listen to Productize Your Business with Greg Hickman
Listen to episode 23 to learn about productizing your services and episode 24 for opportunities to diversify your offerings.
2. Episodes 62 & 63: How to Live Every Day Like It's Friday with Mark Labriola II
It was Mark’s birthday, so naturally, we dove deep into his personal life— which is almost unbelievable. Mark may have cried. But it was so awesome to get to know his story better. We went live on Facebook for the first time, so you can watch the replay of How to Live Everyday Like It’s Friday with Mark Labriola II
1. Episode 21: Morning Rituals for a Better Life
The reason I loved this episode was because we talked about dry body brushing and while re-listening I couldn't keep it together, I was walking through Walmat and I was cracking up like an insane person. That episode was so ridiculous, and I loved it so much!
If you’re looking for an entertaining episode and some excellent tips to set your days up for success, listen to Episode #21: Morning Rituals for a Better Life
Mark's Favorite Episodes:
3. Episode 2: Strategies to Beat Procrastination
As an entrepreneur, procrastination is the number one thing we have to battle because you don’t have anyone micromanaging your time, you work autonomously and you can do what you want when you want, but you also have to watch out for procrastination and hold yourself accountable. LIsten to Episode 2: Strategies to Beat Procrastination
2. Episodes 12 & 13: Stop Trading Your Time for Money with Jonathan Stark
I really got into the value-based pricing around 2019-2020. We needed to figure out how to charge more for what we do. You can only go so long trading your time for money. The better and fast I got at my job, the less I was getting paid, so I had to look for a new way. Jonathan Stark, author of the podcast Ditching Hourly, had some amazing insights into transitioning to value-based pricing. For a great introduction to value-based pricing, start with episode 12.
1. Episode 42: Thinking Time: Your New Secret Weapon
This episode was based on a chapter from the book, “The Road Less Stupid” by Keith Cunningham. It’s a no-nonsense, shoot-from-the-hip book with really practical advice, plus you can really jump around to the topics you are interested in. Episode 42, focuses on the importance of thinking time and how to do it productively.
